The purpose of the Conductive Fluid Sensing Cable is to control the presence of any fluid on the secured surface. It is used in rooms, where is a risk of leakage from the water installation, air conditioning system etc. It can also be used for detecting the leakage of flammable liquids.
This sensor cable indicates the presence of even small amounts of fluid on any section of its length. The cable’s material makes it possible to reuse multiple times after drying out. The small cable diameter (5.5 mm) makes it easy to arrange the cable in difficult to access places. To be able to split an area into different sections and monitor them properly, you should use more than one pair of flood sensor + sensor cable running simultaneously.
This cable is not an independent element of the system – It cannot be directly connected to the CIIM system. Therefore, the water sensor (181030147), must be used in addition. The inputs named OUT/EXT are designed to connect with the sensing cable.
