The Door Contact is an essential component of the CIIM system. It is designed to monitor the position (opening status) of doors, side panels, roofs, windows, etc. This item is used in places such as server cabinets, rooms with network equipment, and warehouses. The principle of operation is similar to the traditional relay. By default, the circuit is closed when the magnet is closed.
The sensor is additionally equipped with a built-in parameter which allows the CIIM central module to determine whether the reed relay has been replaced by a jumper for tamper detection. The reed relay and magnet are fixed with a permanent adhesive tape (included) or with a screw (dedicated mounting hole).
It is supplied as standard with 2.5-meter cable with a TBW 3-pin plug.
