Internal/external cable containing up to 216 optical fibers contained in gel filled loose tubes. The tubes are laid up around a central strength member made of FRP rod, water blocked using swellable tape and tread and wrapped in polyester non woven, reinforced in layers of glass fiber yarns in a LS0H sheath. There’s a polyester ripcord beneath the sheath for easy removal.
