Molex PowerCat 6 Contura Modular Wall Outlet range has been designed to combine aesthetics with functionality. The contemporary design of the products is ideal for the modern office and provides the user with the flexibility of installing as many modules as required.
The product family consists of Single and Double Gang Wall Plates with Grid Plate, a shuttered DataGate Module and a Blank Module. The angled design of the module reduces patch cord bend radius and features a protected labeling feature. Individual ports may be color coded for site-specific network administration, by fitting connector icon labels.
The Contura data module features the DataGate Category 6 connector. This superior RJ45 IDC includes a unique integral shutter that not only protects the connector from dust and contaminants, but the ingenious spring-loaded design also ejects improperly seated patch cords. The DataGate connector is dual color coded for either 568A or 568B wiring schedules and is RJ11 compatible.
Suitable for high-speed data transmission, the DataGate Category 6 connector has been designed to exceed the highest electrical performance standards in the industry. The DataGate connector is also backwards compatible with C5e systems.
