Due to component supply issues with our current Category 6 shielded patch cord cable, Molex CES will be replacing the current C6 F/UTP stranded patch cable with C6A U/FTP stranded patch cable for a temporary period to fulfil backlog and future orders. This change will be effective immediately and will last until the end of November 2022 or until further notice.
Please note that the C6 shielded patch cord cable marking/ legend will state “Molex PowerCat C6A U/FTP Patch Cord”, however the patch cords will be tested for Category 6 transmission performance only, and the patch cord part number label attached to each patch cord will show the relevant Category 6 shielded patch cord part no., NOT the Category 6A patch cord part no. The packaging label will show the PowerCat 6 F/UTP Patch Cord part number.
