The PowerCat 6 MOD-Clip DataGate jack is designed to maintain clean secure connections. The RJ45 jack features a patented ‘spring-loaded shutter’ which protects it from dust and contaminants as well as provides tactile feedback – the spring-loaded shutter pops out an improperly seated patch cord – all with single-handed plug-in and removal. Available in seven colors MOD-Clip DataGate jacks utilize patented IDC V-shaped contacts that flex not fatigue when terminated.

Molex recommends that the PoE feature on an individual switch port is power disabled prior to unplugging the associated powered Device.
Molex recommends that the full range of PowerCat 6 products be used in a system to maximize cabling and PoE performance. Details on Molex requirements for Warranty can be found at: https://www.molexces.com/about-us/ourwarranty/
