The 4-Pair Termination Tool, p/n 31.0011, is designed for use with our DataGate and MOD-Clip jacks. The tool is easy to use and reduces installation time.
Process for terminating F/UTP cable into a Molex PowerCat 6A DataGate Shielded Straight and Side Entry Jack, p/n KSJ-00096, using a 110 Punchdown tool.
Please note: While termination of the jack is possible with the 110 punch-down tool , tight tolerances within the outlet design could result in an unintentional short between the conductor wires and the metal housing. Therefore, Molex strongly recommends the use of the 4-pair termination tool to ensure even, consistent terminations, and minimize the risk of this occurring.
