The Specification Grade Fiber Optic Enclosure is a configurable rack mount unit for storing and terminating incoming fiber cable. The enclosure may be configured with ModLink Cassettes, 6-Pak Adapter plates and Universal Splice Trays. The enclosures are designed to accommodate the needs of both the installer for the initial assembly and the end user for access, maintenance and fiber protection. Great care has gone into the design to protect fiber optic cables and patch cords from damage and to maintain stable optical integrity throughout the life and use of the enclosure.

  • Incorporates heavy-duty ball bearing slides for smooth and limited extension of the drawer unit, allowing for patch cable access while protecting installed patch and trunk cables from damage during re-entry of the enclosure
  • Lightweight removable aluminum top/rear panel allows for easy access to the rear or top of the enclosure without the use of tools. Can be removed even with equipment installed directly above the enclosure
  • Dual cable spools for fiber slack storage
  • Modlink Cassettes or 6-Pak adapter plates are recessed behind a lockable, steel front door
  • Copper grounding stud tie down points at each cable entrance point
  • Each fiber Enclosure will rack mount without interfering with the equipment mounted above or below the unit
