Water Sensor

The water sensor is a secondary component of the CIIM system, used to detect the occurrence of any voltage conductive liquids on the protected surface.

It is intended for use in areas where there is a risk of leakage from a water system, air conditioners, etc. The device is also suitable for detecting leaks of flammable liquids. Additional probes can be connected in large rooms. This will further increase the accuracy and speed of liquid detection.

The use of several sensors allows the division of the protected area into sections, which makes it possible to cover these sections independently of the others in terms of sensors. As soon as the water reaches the height on which the sensor electrodes or additional probe (option) are located, the sensor will start to signal flooding — the built-in, galvanically separated relay will change its status, and a continuous sound signal will be heard.

When the water level drops below the height on which the electrodes are placed, the flooding signal will be terminated. The sensor system is enclosed in an ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) casing.

It is supplied as standard with a 2.5 m long TBW 3-pin connector, as well as a set of screws and mounting pins.
